Your membership is your core. They are the reason you exist and they are the reason we exist. It’s vital that we work together to make sure the boots on the ground are healthy in all ways: physically, mentally and emotionally. This job is taxing in every aspect therefore it’s essential to take preventative action against unnecessary injury and illness.

This is where we come in. We’re here for your members and their families on a private pay basis, but we are also available for you as an organization. Our goal is to significantly increase awareness around health & wellness within fire departments, with a strong message of how much it matters – coming from the top down.  We will assist you in creating a Health & Wellness program from the ground up, or from wherever you may be in your development. 

We want to get to know you, your agency and your members as well as possible. This will help us to earn the trust of your firefighters, in turn benefitting you as we organically gain maximum participation in all the program has to offer. 


Health & Wellness Program Services

We come in and help you to strategize and create a plan for a strong and impactful program to support your members in the best way possible. Each organization has their own individual needs, so we sit down with administration, with members and with unions to discuss what each respective group is hoping to see in the program. The program is customized to fit your department and you are given the plan and strategy to execute.

establish & execute

After the Program Creation step has been completed, you may decide that you’d like assistance in getting it off the ground and “marketing” it to your members. We work with you on logistics, including choosing a physical space within your department for your Health & Wellness center, we assist in outfitting the center for success and we introduce it to members, answering any questions they may have. Member buy-in and use of the program is where the impact happens so our goal is to get them comfortable with it in all ways.

Full management

From the ground up we build, execute and manage your entire Health & Wellness Program. This is a task that takes a lot of time, committment and dedication, which is hard to add to the plate of an already over tasked department officer, chief or administrator. To move at a consistent pace, it takes someone who your members can trust and also a group of people that they know will be present throughout their career. We contract with you, give you a point person from our organization and ensure that this program will run smoothly, with your members being supported at the time of opening and for years to come.

With a plethora of options available to us when it comes to healing, the way we approach client work is unique for every person who comes to us. Each human being has a different threshold of what they can take in, how much they’re able to handle and how they process stressors. As such, it is essential that we treat each person as an individual, especially in a wellness aspect. Our approach is to do individual 1:1 appointments with each member, working together to find their baseline, to get familiar with their current status and determine how we can best support them in either creating or maintaining balance in their lives. our process with your people

The most positive provider-client relationships start with the proper introduction. We come in and make sure that we personally meet your members, giving them the opportunity to ask questions in small group or one on one settings. Health and wellness is a very personal journey for most people, and they need the ability to start at their own pace. We strive to make them comfortable with us, both in the services we are offering to them and the therapists and practitioners they have to choose from. We’ll ensure they meet multiple people from our staff and that they know they’re supported by our entire group for the long haul. They’ll walk away with our contact information as well as a confidence that they are no longer alone when it comes to dealing with daily challenges of life, whether it be at work or at home.

As we build relationships with each individual, we get to know them and their personalities. We show up consistently and most importantly we follow up, which develops trust and shows that we truly do care about them. Over time they learn, grow and shift in positive ways with healthy tools and coping mechanisms. They also learn what to look out for in their peers, recognizing potential upset in others and having the tools to take gentle action when it’s time.
